What to do when there are no waves in sight!?

$300 gets you certified in Bridgeport by one of the nicest guys in the world. Get certified then go scuba dive anywhere.
The perfect solution if you love the ocean but there ain't any waves in sight is to go scuba dive where you surf, it will be guaranteed to be clear water, no coves or inlets with two foot visability.

Theres nothing like the the marine life and the weightlessness and the uncanny weirdness of breathing underwater to add dimension to your life. There's lots of cool stuff down there.

Most people stand on the shore and look out at the ocean, it's the only perspective they ever live to see. Surfers get to sit out on the ocean and look at the waves bashing against the rocks, or at the lighthouse standing strong against the elements with ancient architecture especially during inclement weather. It's nice having those different perspectives as memories.

Same thing with scuba diving. Most people look at the ocean's shimmering surface, or see the prop wash on the back of a ferry but never look at the bottom of a boat from one hundred feet below it. Never see a barracuda being chased by a hammerhead shark. Go night scuba diving. Float weightlessly through the cargo hold of a sunken freighter when every sense is yelling that gravity should be pulling! It's all waiting for you once you get certified. It's easy!
