trump says global warming is a democratic hoax.
Polar bears walking hundreds of miles eating human garbage and starving to death says otherwise. Link: https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/2019/06/19/starving-polar-bear-wandered-into-city-scavenging-food-hundreds-miles-home/?utm_term=.4e3e497ebe3c

I can barely stand reading trump quotes and transcripts of speeches and interviews he gives- he can barely complete a sentence or a thought. His jumbled, incomplete thought processes are noticeable if one can bear listening to him long enough as he chews on his tongue.
Today he continues his assault on humanity as he, well, you can read for yourself I guess. I am of the opinion that while some of our country is moving away from unenlightened habits in favor of TRYING to change, trump is waging an all out war on the climate, pollution of our air and water, etc. ASSHOLE!!! If you are well-educated, honest, caring, loving, and interested in the continuation of life on this planet that we all have come to take for granted, you need to vote this guy to the curb- have him pack up his shit and scraggle back home to the shithole he crawled out of in 2016. Let’s try to understand what is going on here. A state regulatory agency as well as a federal agency repeatedly turned down a polluting, environment-destroying project because it was not good for the people, for Minnesota, for the environment.
The owner of the company complains to tRUMP, who makes a few calls and orders the project to receive the permits to proceed. I do not understand how one person can over-rule an entire state just because of a friendship. link: http://m.startribune.com/minnesota-group-ramps-up-court-challenge-to-trump-rulings-on-twin-metals-mining-leases/508705412/ DISGUST is the conclusion after reading this article. What is wrong with this man?
Every time I read these articles, my hatred of tRUMP increases, something that I thought was not possible two years ago. LINK TO ARTICLE: https://www.washingtonpost.com/climate-environment/2019/06/21/white-house-tells-agencies-they-no-longer-have-weigh-projects-long-term-climate-impacts/?utm_term=.c8343106d5b6 I read last week that if there was only one thing we can all do to help reduce global emissions of carbon and methane, it has to do with our food supply/choices/handling: 1. STOP EATING BEEF. All kinds of red meat. 2. DO NOT BUY FOOD THAT YOU CANNOT EAT (as in buying it and then not eating it. It is reported that 40-60% of all food produced by us is thrown away). 3. DO NOT PUT VEGETABLE WASTE INTO THE GARBAGE. Compost it. 4. STOP (or drastically reduce consumption) EATING BEEF Everything associated with beef production is bad for the planet, so if we all reduce this aspect of our lives, it will result in tangible carbon and methane reductions. I'm still a pessimist about our ability to enact change in our habits, but trying is better than doing nothing. I bought these and fried them in Worcestershire sauce in a frying pan. NOT BAD! Not hamburgers, but close. I’m not buying burger meat again if I can help it. Close enough is good enough for me. Try it! Red snapper found its way into my stomach this week. FUN! Chicken, scallops, fish, veggies and fruit make up most of our diet now. Scallions. Pretty soon they will be coming from my garden. I saw on the label that these perfect scallions came from Mexico. Looks like these are very professionally grown.
NO BEEF! I've made it a month or more with no red meat and miss it just slightly. After decades of relying on red meat as a staple in my diet, it's going to take a very long time to walk past the beef displays in the grocery store without longing for my carnivorous past. You could never in a million years make this stuff up! The current head of the “ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY” is the former head of the coal industry. “WHAT???” You say? “HUH?” You state as you rub your forehead! The head of the agency responsible for protecting our nation’s air and water was the leader of the industry responsible for mucking most of it up in the first place (borrowing from Dr. Suess). Are we supposed to believe in and trust this agency any more? Don’t think so, tRUMP, not anymore (never did anyway), at any point during your earth-destroying administration. I actually don’t believe one word our government says at all anymore, and refuse to until there is a brand new administration. tRUMP, sanders, pence, conway, mneuchin, barr, the list goes on and on and on. They are all liars, hard to watch anymore spew lies as if we sat in our couches with no brain cells as lie after lie comes out of their collective voice. This never ending assault on truth has it’s costs, guys. War with Iran??? I believe not one word our government says about any of it, because as far as this author is concerned, our government has absolutely zero credibility at all, all the lies and mistruths adding up over the years for a net sum of zero honesty. If there is any conflict with Iran, it is entirely tRUMP’s fault, and I find myself for the first time ever siding with the Iranians (as much as I hate their government), and feel sorry for their people- they are just like us. People trying to improve their lives. They tried to overthrow their government but got murdered for their efforts. Unbelievable what has gone on in Washington since tRUMP took office- a full on frontal assault on carefully thought out environmental regulations that span five decades by both parties. For a peek inside the absolute nightmare unfolding inside tRUMP’s attack on all of us, here is the link to the article. I will make this like live on Tuesday, but the opinion is obviously easy to find online- def worth reading. https://www.nytimes.com/2019/06/22/opinion/sunday/trump-climate-clean-power-plan.html For an even more disgusting glimpse of the VICE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES (empty headed Pence), watch or read the transcript of Jake Tapper of CNN ask pence if he thought global warming threatened our country, all pence could do was dodge, deflect, and run like hell as fast as he could away from the question: LINK TO VIDEO AND ARTICLE: https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.cnn.com/cnn/2019/06/24/politics/mike-pence-climate-crisis/index.html Can’t wait for the next administration, when we can all get back to whatever it was before the environmental disaster called tRUMP entered the world stage and brought his numb skull stooge pence along with him to do as he was told to do, and support tRUMP in all ways no matter what the ethics of the situation are. One would think that pence, with all his holier than thou stances on almost everything would have an opinion on this matter, but he was told by his master to deny, deny, deny. I am of the belief that this disqualifies him from passing through the pearly gates. Trumps first corrupt pick to head the EPA- oil industry puppet doing what he was told to do in eviscerating the EPA. Current head of the EPA: morally corrupt Andrew Wheeler appointed by morally corrupt Donald tRUMP. Wanna see this guy’s history??? No you do not! LINK: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrew_R._Wheeler As if these two corrupt EPA talking heads weren’t bad enough, in this week’s paper comes this: Figures that it is yet ANOTHER old white man whose past is interwoven in the most polluting industry.
Let’s get this straight- the men at the top of the EPA used to (or still do) work in the very industries that they are supposed to regulate??? How does that get by the sniff test? Looks like tRUMP has not drained but has, is, and will continue to FILL the swamp with ethically numb, corrupt old men. LINK TO ARTICLE: https://www.washingtonpost.com/climate-environment/2019/06/26/epas-top-air-policy-official-steps-down-amid-scrutiny-over-possible-ethics-violations/?utm_term=.70e32d8f7cf0 Turns out grey whales are dying from ship strikes and starvation, human-caused eradication of an ancient species. Their traditional food source is becoming scarce in the summer arctic feeding grounds due to rapidly deteriorating environmental conditions. Because they are hungry when they head back to California, they deviate from migratory patterns and come into contact with ships resulting in death. Another symptom warning us about our own fate if we don’t address global warming fast. For a slightly more in depth analysis:

Article: https://www.cnn.com/2019/06/17/health/greenland-ice-sheet-intl-hnk/index.html Just what we need to hear- that this year is predicted to be the hottest year on record in the Arctic with the most sea ice melt ever in a single year.
Great! tRUMP says it’s good because we can then fish, hunt, drill, and harvest the minerals up there in a place where the ice never allowed it before. Great! The very last place on earth that humans have not yet destroyed and polluted, about to be destroyed and polluted. LINK Y TO ARTICLE: https://www-m.cnn.com/2019/06/14/us/greenland-sudden-ice-melt-wxc/index.html?r=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.cnn.com%2F Just so you know- The following is a list of the ways that your car pollutes the environment. When I started thinking about it this year, I wondered about a lot more than just the smog that comes out of your tailpipe. How many ways does your vehicle pollute? What are you supposed to do about it???
So many times when I suggest to people to use roundup in their yard to control weeds, they look at me as if I were an ax-murderer-rapist-litterbug-draft dodging tax evader. They are only half right. I often stand there understanding where they are coming from because this issue isn't what most people are familiar with, and start to explain about maligned roundup but am stopped in my tracks: "I don't want to use chemicals!!!" I am tempted to mention to them- "then why are you driving a car?" I'm way too polite for that but it's always in the back of my mind. There is not one good thing about a vehicle that is good for the environment. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING about our vehicles is killing our planet. When I really looked into it, I realized that I never want to stand next to a highway ever again. It'll kill me! Too bad one can't look through a magic scope and witness first hand the stuff we pollute when we drive. We might start riding horses again! 1. Exhaust components too numerous to mention. Wonder why your cousin has cancer but never smoked? 2. Tire wear/particles/vapors/tire runoff/manufacture/disposal (bet you never thought about tire particle pollution, eh?) 3. Windshield wiper fluid is EXTREMELY toxic in the environment (there is a good home recipe) 4. Brake dust is EXTREMELY toxic- bet you never thought about that! 5. Paint wear/chips/runoff is extremely toxic 6. Oil drips off most cars- just look at a parking space that is used a lot. See where the engine sits? See how the asphalt is eaten away where the oil drips? Name one organism that can cohabit the earth with motor oil... I'm W-A-I-T-I-N-G! Give up yet? None. It is going to take me a lot of time to finish this post so be patient. Brake dust emissions- I never thought about it until last week. Here is a scientific article about brake dust polluting the air we breathe. Let your eyes pass over some of this and just a little will give you an idea of why you do not want to stand near a place where cars slow down. You do not need to read the whole thing to get the idea- when cars and trucks use their brakes, each and every time, the brakes emit particles that kill microbes, amphibians, insects, and us! https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4315878/ "Rubber" tire wear- You buy 'em new. Black and smelling great, they go on your car. Old and worn, they come off, four at a time. Millions (billions) of cars times four every two years or so. Trillions of pounds/tons of chemical rubber per year donated to our environment by tire companies with our complicity. Unregulated, unknown chemicals rinsing off the roads invisibly into our streams, lakes, oceans, killing unseen organisms all along that long journey from your trip to the oceans. The air we breathe contains microparticles of tire wear that we know absolutely nothing about, and we wonder out loud why we no longer see salamanders like we used to when we were kids, or why our cousin has lung cancer but never smoked. We are totally innocent yet at the same exact moment, guilty as hell! Time to wake up and educate yourself about how your actions are killing the planet. You are NOT innocent (neither am I).
