The Environment...
Matters!

Scary times.

This is the first entry in my new section on the environmental destruction of life on this planet as we knew it. I am a realist, pragmatic, and pessimistic about the innate human qualities of selfishness, laziness, greed, and stupidity. Seems that we know what’s happening as it happens but don’t stop our bad ways.

We know now that we are killing ourselves little by little, but as a world civilization we haven’t done anything about it.

We are like the alcoholic or the drug addict who knows he/she is dying from the addiction but still reach for fix after fix after fix.

I lay the blame in our country squarely upon the Republican Party- selfish, self-serving political hacks lined up behind that president of ours who cow-tows to his largest donors. Coal magnates. Oil barons. Koch brothers. Trump is the real “enemy of civilization.”

Ive been paying attention to this issue for decades and politicians just sweep “the environment” as an issue asunder as if it’s irrelevant and leave it for someone else to deal with later- if at all.

Hours:

After Christmas until early March we are at the nursery infrequently. You can leave a message on the phone but it might be some time before we get back to you.

Note- Inclement weather changes our hours. If in doubt, call us. Inclement weather includes extreme heat and cold, extreme snow and rain.

Winter- call and leave a message. We go in every now and then, we will call you back.
