Fall horticulture

ITS FALL!!!

Seems more like summer now with torrential rain and warm air. I’ve had my wood burning stove on for two days and don’t know if I’ll need it when I get home. It's fall planting season and lawn repair time as well. Warm moist soil, still strong sun makes for great root growth.

I just deleted six seasonal blogs spanning almost two years because I can't tell if I violated copyright infringements by putting newspaper articles up when it seemed important to spread the word about one subject or another, as well as various pics that are difficult to tell if they are copyrighted or not. Rather than get into any trouble, I just deleted TONS of effort to bring information and news to anyone who stumbles upon my website. It's sad because I really put honest energy into that stuff, and some of the writing I feel was the best stuff I ever created.

Oh, well, no use crying over spilled emotions, there is much more creativity where that came from but I learned one thing- Only put onto your website pictures, videos, writings, etc. that you create yourself.

The other thing that I am not doing again is writing about how much I hate tRUMP. Nobody goes to a nursery website to read political opinions, and I won't burden people with that stuff at all anymore (as much as I want to).

Sorry if you came here to look up old horticultural entries- some are still here, but I felt it was more time efficient to just delete EVERYTHING rather than sort through all the blogs and delete stuff that wasn't of my own making.

Hours:

After Christmas until early March we are at the nursery infrequently. You can leave a message on the phone but it might be some time before we get back to you.

Note- Inclement weather changes our hours. If in doubt, call us. Inclement weather includes extreme heat and cold, extreme snow and rain.

Winter- call and leave a message. We go in every now and then, we will call you back.
