This year’s carrots, last year’s tomato sauce, and parts of the deer I hacked off a road kill on rt 25 today (believe that if you want to).
Its so cool eating out of your yard and storing great food you grew yourself for long periods of time. What the hell would one call this dish anyway???

Whatever one would call it, it was great. The tomato sauce tastes sweeter than when I made it a year ago.

I tried to be organized about this harvest
Picture
I discovered a passion for peppers. No chemicals needed to grow them. I can make products people like from them.
Picture
Beer, music, a day off, a known recipe, and a goal in mind. Took hours to pick off these stems. Eyes watering. Mind floating. Spiders in the windows dying from toxic pepper gas. Sweat dripping down the back of my neck.
Picture
Habanero pepper sauce concentrated. Think I’m gonna freeze this and add it to stuff later. I’ve got about forty pounds of scalding hot peppers.
Picture
I am sure to carefully record so nobody dies.
Picture
Spozed to wear gloves when slicing these peppers so I bought these supposedly tough gloves.
Picture
They are the ONLY latex product that ever broke whilst being used by me......
Picture
Tear resistant only if you leave them in the package.

Cayenne peppers- the actual workhorse of my hot sauce
Picture
Ghost peppers- WHAT THE “F” do you do with these??? I’ll find out and let you know.
Picture
Jalapeño peppers- added in a minority proportion so the sauce is still edible

Big fat carrots from seed

Some kind of pepper, I forget the name
I gotta say, If you're gonna have a garden, peppers are the easiest because they are not bothered by insects nor fungus, and you can make a really decent easily stored amendment for use a year off into the future.

...kept me out of my garden for a week or two in early September. When I returned I found an unkempt horrible unmanageable weedy Mess, and that was the end of this year’s garden!
