Extremely powerful storm produced thick juicy waves on this Thursday a few weeks ago. I gotta tell you I was scared a few times- there’s a lot to lose if you mess up at this spot. A LOT. Shoulder problems further deteriorated my abilities so I got out just as the sun started glistening on the waves instead of the gloomy fog. Today, 5/19/18, I saw my first crew competition in Mass. My son is in this boat- what a cool sport! Sleek racing craft filled with top notch athletes of all kinds from all over the east coast. My son has a lot to learn, and I have even more! Kyle’s muscles are getting big. His caluses never heal, his sense of teamwork is improving, and all is good in this unique sport!

Hi, my name is David Benjamin and I started swimming in Chappaqua, NY., swam for Badger swim team, Mercersburg Academy, NC State University, then Westport YMCA masters. I got bored of the ol' back and forth of competitive swimming and the high cost of skiing. Surfing took over and I never looked back. Archives
